Oh yeah, it's over! 2020 is history!!! Happy new year!!

 

It's OVER!! It's GONE!!!!!!!! CELEBRATE; RAISE YOU GLASS, hug your loved ones, share the joy!

What a fucking waste of a year, what a filthy useless year this was. Few times I remember being so full of joy when a year ends just because its ending... But that's just me. Maybe you had a better 2020? I hoppe so.

Sadly tonight I don't have comics, or captions to share. I'm still putting my agenda in order. I wanted to share all the 2019 captions like I usually do, but Gif's are a bit bigger than still images, so the size of the file was... 1.65 Gb! Guess 2020 had one last annoying prank to play on me before it goes away. Next weekend I'll have it uploaded I guess. With the 2021 "ideal" plans

 

As said, it was a terribly hard year at the personal level. And almost every plan got screwed up in the work level! All I could think about is thanking you for your support, sound cheesy but it really helps me move forward and do something I love doing.

Also I would like to personally thank everyone who helped with the two little and modest Charity Campaigns I made this year. I'm more than sure that we helped change a little bit of the world for the better!

From the distance I share my toast with you and a big hug, and start our new year resolution: Let's have much more fun this 2021!

Wow, this was way overdue. What an incredible amount of shit happened between October started and today.

So, how about that... A Halloween comic, right before Christmas! Maybe I should make a Christmas comic and release it during Thankskgiving? I really feel weird with this late release. I mean, it's a Halloween comic, we're not in Halloween... But I hope you don't have a problem with that like my Obsessive Disorder does!

2020 is going away, and finally, we enter the Holidays season! 

"It's the most wonderful time of the year" as a popular song says, and wow, do I have fond memories of Christmas - or whatever you want to call it, we all know what it is -, big family dinners with jokes and fights and a whole shitshow for good and for bad, my uncle falling asleep in a Santa Costume, and waiting for those presents... Seemed like forever! Many fond memories, including the time they gave me socks as a gift (no one heard from that relative again after that Christmas dinner, what a mystery... ;))

2020 took a lot for many of us, so I want to help bring joy, a smile to every kid I can. 

So it's simple: just like the Covid Charity Run, this months's Patreon earnings will go straight to Child-Related Charity.

It's impossible to define just how important even the slightest present can be for a child. Let's put a smile on every kid we can. Those years might be the best of your life and we all should get the most of it!

What more do you want from us, 2020? Haven't you done enough?

I was usure about sharing this, but... You are a part of my life after this long time. Some days ago, I suffered the way too soon and unfair loss of someone that was very close to me and I had no words to explain how special it was for me. A loss that shocked me down to my core, taking away all my strenght and inspiration. A pain that pierced the chest until your soul hurts. Someone who taught me what life's really about. A personal heroine.

She had a disablity and yet she saw the word with a lot more depth than I could ever did. No matter how bad the shit hits the fan, her sole honest smile and loving manners could fix anything. Her tireless and neverending will to improve, to never give up, inspired me more times than I ever imagined.

The hardest part is being aware that life goes on and one should move on aswell. Taking the best of those memories and lessons, and knowing you've been blessed to have that person in your life.

I've been on a leave from work and I haven't even opened until now my email as VipCaptions, so I'm sorry for taking this as a personal time out after I promised to have the comics ready. But it only seemed fair that today, in the international day of persons with disabilities, I get up on my feet again.

And the first thing in the list? Doing what brings me joy and takes my mind away. So if all goes well the Comic will be ready this weekend or the next!

And if it's not ready this weekend? Well, then we'll have a SHITLOAD of X-Change captions. Like 10 or 20!

And even more important: In a couple of days there will be a second CHARITY RUN! All December earnings will go straight to charity.

This time is meant to bring joy for kids this Holyday season. No, not with my comics (maybe they're not the best for little kids...) but with toys, so more kids can enjoy the ending of this horrible, mean year, and put a smile on their faces as we all send this year away with a big, big F*CK YOU 2020!

Finally I'm back home!

 

Oh my God, and I'm so damn glad to be home.

 

Funny thing... This last work travel, during Halloween, was a nightmare!!! A 5 day trip becoming almost a 20 day trip. The things I've experenced this past few days? An explosion, a truck rolling on its side (not the was I was riding, the one after me), two flat tires in the middle of nowhere with only one spare and no phone service (and the night a couple of hours away), a worker who just quit and walked away and we never were able to contact him away as if he banished, strange noises some nights (and believe me some of them SCARY as fuck)... BTW, I'm OK and no one got hurt.

 

This was a freakish, weird and obscure experience. Fun to look back at it, but I'm no no hurry to experience it again. The good part is that I managed to negotiate some days off next week.

But all that's behind me! I'm going to try to get up to date with emails, comments and messages, and if  I find the energy and time, I'll probably finish the comic this weekend. No promises, but I'm doing my best here.

 

Thanks a lot my friends, for your support and understanding! I was so desperate to get back to my devices and start answering your quesions and work on renders. Now, let's have some fun!

Happy halloween my friends!!

Sadly, today I have no treats for you. I left this post to auto-publish in case something has gone wrong.

If you're reading this, it means there was a problem at work and I wasn't able to get back home in time. I 'm in the middle of nowhere with little no no internet conenction. Also it means I have no idea when I'll be back home, but I expect it to be during the first week of November

You see I had to tavel, and I was expected to return by Thursday 29 with more than enough time to finish the comic and there's no reception where I am right now, and the only phone and computer I have with me are the one from work - and VipCaptions stuff can't go anywhere near them since they really control what you do with them. So if something went wrong and the job got delayed, I can't do anything about it.

 But one thing I can do: show you the cover of the comic!

Like what you see? I kinda upped the story contents a little bit to make up for the lack of other VipComics stories.

But you know what really grinds my gears? After Halloween, a halloween-themed comic seems out of place. And yes, it's going to be 1 comic not a VipComics issue as time wasn't enough.

I apologize deeply again, I will try to make it up to you guys! Believe me when I say I want to be back home way more than anything right now.

This is a special post I've decided to make for someone who's been, as far as I remember, since the very day the Blog started... And maybe from the Yahoo! Groups (but we don't talk about those times)

If you've been around here long enough, you'll probably read some of his comments. He always leaves feedback, even when the content it's not his cup of tea, and always returns to check out whats new. 

Let me put it this way: theres no one, NO ONE I know that has even a sligthly similar level of love and passion for TG Fantasy as Stormfries. I mean, its something to admire to love something as much as he loves TG in I believe almost all forms.

He even started his own interview where he interviewed great artists, and even was kind enough to offer me a spot amongst them (but... I can't find the link to the interview!)

From time to time I like to give something back to the community. And since you've given so much support and time, this little caption was the least I could do. As I recall, you like bimbos, right? Then this is my present for you... Take a look at your new self!

I know, I know. Quarantine, lockdown, commisions, work troubles, Halloween coming, because of this absolute asshole of a year we're enduring... Everything added up to big delays in CoC.

Also, I want to thank all of you who've been asking for commisioned work, but I have no time until at least November, I'm honored you ask and excited by most request, but no way I'm charging for work that may take ages to be done since I fully dedicate to each commision.
