First of all: THANKS for the amazing feedback! 95 comments in a week, must be some kind of record. I'm gad you're liking it

Now, let's get to business... Time to release part III!
So, where we we in the story? Oh, right:

So our Champion is kinda getting corrupted fast. Poor guy! He thought he was going to be a holy crusader, but so far he's turning into a corrupted mix of horny demon/goblin... And he can barely takes it!

If only he knew, that today he's facing a new threat, a new kind of evil... That will corrupt him from the inside out first... Who could it be?

But hey! No spoilers! We already know he's venturing into the desert, so for those who played the game... That can only mean one thing: he's also going to ru acrros a san... Nah! No spoilers I said!

One More little thing!
I was a bit eager to release the comic last week, so I forgot to add something that you'll see from now on at the end of each part: the Bestiary!

It's time, in this slow year, for a New Comic!!!!
Following the last year's tradition, it's this year's big comic: Corruption of the Champion. And since, as I said it's a slow year, I decided to release Part II as a bonus tonight.

If you understood the hints I left previously, it's about the amazing Fenoxo's game Corruption of Champions!

Of course, he gave me permission to do it, since I'm using his ideas and making them graphic, so a big thank you and a lot of credits go to Fenoxo.

Now, why in the CoC universe? Many reasons.
- First, I wanted to make something with the new render method as I explained in the last post, and this provided a great oportunity. It took so much time and learning! I don't know if I'll keep using this method from now on. Seems not for now.
- Second, I'm a big fan of the game and the other game, T.I.T.S., both free games that I played many times since they have great repay value and such a vast universe and transformations! Good work, Fenoxo.
- Third... It's a game where you start as a guy (or a girl) and everything CHANGES you... changes you covering almost EVER fetish, and you encounter EVERY fetish you have in lots of scenarios and characters.

If you know the game, you know what to expect, you know the huuuuge number of characters and endless choices for transformations its world provides. In this comic, I'll be adapting how one of my adventures played out.

What's up? I'd really like your opinion on this matter.
Yes, I know, this year has been slow, and there's a good reason to it, so I thought I could fill you all in.

The thing is that this year since I upgraded some of my hardware, I decided to try to up a level of quality, so I upgraded my software too and find myself in a shitstorm complex situation of trial and errors.

The thinkg is this: The main problem with the comics is the rendering time (render is how long it takes to create a final image with the 3D software, if you don't know).

There are 3 render methods: basic, 3delight, and Iray.

Basic is what I used on my early comics, takes 10 seconds, and looks like this:

For the last few years I've been using 3Delight, wich I'm familiar with, takes 2-3 minutes, and looks like this:

But this year I decided to try my luck with Iray... And it look awesome! To make a "decent" render it takes from 5 to 15 minutes, and looks like this:

I do mean, looks awesome.

Now, considering That my comics use around 400-800 renders (plus trial and errors, re-renders) and there's the added photoshop time per image... Rendring in Iray takes sooooo muuuuch timeeeee to get things done!
And in indoors, or under shadows/low light, all I get are grainy images!

There's also the problem that every render method behaves different, requires a whole new setup and lightning work... so, I've been re-learning how to render basically just to use Iray.


So, to summarize it - I've been using a render method that crawls and I can't render indoors right so far, I'm kinda stuck. I've spent quite a lot of time and months just trying different ways to render and re-learning.

But there's good news! I should have something soon, and I got half done the Halloween comic part 2.

And since you reached this part of the post... here's a quick caption for you!

What? you want more? You want me to spoil what the next comic is about?
Hmpph... Let me think... All I can tell you is that:
- is medieval themed
- involves a Champion from Ingnam
- involved drinking plenty of fluids and meeting a wide variety of colorful characters

Wow! I really took some time off since the last comic! I was tired and also had to travel but... I'ts been more than a month! I hope you didn't forget about me.

First, I want to start by thanking you a lot for the amazing feedback on VipComics #5!

Also, I'm surprised that "Hero of the realm" (or as I named its savefile, "im not a sexbot comic") had so much attention. I thought it was a fun one-off, but I'm considering doing some more of it. I was rooting for "Defenders of the Realm" to be the favorite, and I knew that a Blueberry inflation comic had a 50-50% chance of being liked/hated. I must say... I love this crowd reaction surprises.
Again, great feedback. Thanks a lot. Really keeps me going.

But today I'm not here to talk about renders... In the next weeks I'll make a post about it since I'm finding a couple of troubles with several things regarding the next 3D comics and I'll be needing your help/opinions.

No, as I was saying, today we're back with some of the newest captions. And since I was away for so long... none of this guys will get trated nicely!

Oh am I glad to be able to say this... Finally... VipComics#5 is here!! I'm so happy to have it finally finishied!


Hard to believe it! 5 issues already? VipComics is here with the same old premise as always:
To do new things! To try out and explore new TG elements and themes... Is my very own Star Trek in TG comic form?

But there's more to it in this issue. VipComics has evolved. The first noticeable change is the cover... Wich I'm debating myself is keeping the old or the new format for the next issue.

Originally, it was supposed to be a simple, short 30/40 pages comic made of  fast, ugly, crude renders. It even said "short stories done in a hurry" on the top of the covers.

But as the issues came out, this has changed. You have, just in this issue...

258 pages in total!

Also, the renders are more detailed and less crude, using the same quality I would use on a regular comic.
But, since I doubt you've read all of the above, here's what you're looking for: the links!

It's been a fun couple of weeks here as we did this little contest, and it was very interesting to see how you respond to it.
The idea of the "battle" was simple: just to see which classic hair color was considered the hottest. After all, even girls debate about this sometimes.

I decided that the blondes come out to play first, defending their stand as hottie stereotype queens.
Then, as a result of a heavy popular deman, the Redheads crushed the brunettes and come to play and prove to be no pushovers.
Lastly and relegated, the Brunettes had their shot, although they looked doomed by the way the voting was going.

I really didn't expected that hell of a comeback!
